Having trouble moving your car? We offer a complimentary tow from the vehicles location to our scrap yard! South Chicago Iron & Metal accepts junk cars! We believe that proper auto recycling is necessary for a greener earth. This Vehicle De-pollution Unit provides a packaged solution for removing all the required fluids from a vehicle and pumping them to a fluid storage facility. All fluids are recycled or disposed of in an environmentally safe manner.

The Skip Erb Foundation

South Chicago Iron and Metal believes in working together with community leaders in order to accomplish more then just growing a business. South Chicago Recently introduced The Skip Erb Foundation which gives under privileged students showing outstanding achievement scholarships to private high schools. South Chicago Iron and Metal also received the 2009 C.A.P.S. City Wide Appreciation Award “...in recognition for the exceptional support to the 7th district of the Chicago Police Department”.

South Chicago Iron and Metal has purchase purified spring water from CannedWater4Kids that we offer to our costumers as a thank you for your business. CannedWater4Kids is a Non-Profit Organization that helps bring clean, safe water to children all over the world. They also help deter harmful plastic waste from landfills because there product is offered in a 100% recyclable aluminum can.
